Catholic parish bulletin software

Parish Bell replaces the scramble of files and WhatsApp messages with one shared bulletin the whole parish team works on, and a clear mobile page parishioners can actually read.

What it does for the parish office

  • Start each week from last week's bulletin, or import an English PDF, image or Word document into an editable draft.
  • Mass times, announcements, wedding banns, Mass intentions and the priest's message live in one form.
  • Father can read and approve the bulletin on his phone through a private link that expires.
  • Publish now or schedule it for a set time, and keep every saved version with the option to restore one.
  • Ministries send their notices through one private link; the office approves, edits or declines each one.

What parishioners see

  • One permanent link that always shows the latest bulletin, with large readable text on a phone.
  • A poster or photo beside the notice it belongs to, and a tap to react.
  • Past bulletins and a search across them, so nobody scrolls back through old messages.
  • Share on WhatsApp, or save the page to the phone's home screen. There is nothing to install and no account to make.
  • An optional notification when a new bulletin is published.

On paper too

Export the published bulletin as an A4 PDF or image, portrait or landscape, for the noticeboard or the printer. The web page and the printed sheet come from the same bulletin, so they never disagree.

Where it runs

Parish Bell is live today at the Minor Basilica of St. Anne, Bukit Mertajam, and other parishes of the Diocese of Penang in Malaysia. Parishes and dioceses in any country are welcome to get in touch: tell us your languages and time zone, and we will say plainly what works today.

Questions

How is this different from making the bulletin in Word?
The office, priest and translators work around one shared bulletin rather than separate files. You start from last week's copy, publish it as a web page, and export an A4 PDF or image only when you need one.
Do parishioners need an account or an app?
No. They open the parish's link in a browser. They can save it to the home screen, but nothing has to be installed.
Does saving a draft make it public?
No. A new draft stays private until the office publishes it. You can preview it, ask the priest to review it through an expiring link, and schedule publication.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on how many parishes are involved. Contact us for a quote.
