Parish Bell began with a Malaysian parish where one Sunday is prayed in several languages. The bulletin problem is not Malaysian: a priest, an office, translators, and a week that arrives faster than the last one.
Parishes and dioceses in any country are welcome. Scheduling, giving details and some local records currently follow Malaysia. Tell us your country, time zone and languages, and we will say plainly what is ready before you commit.

Parish Bell began with a Malaysian parish that prays in several languages. The problem is not Malaysian, and parishes in other countries are welcome.
What AI should never do in a parish bulletin
AI is useful for drafting and transcription, but a parish bulletin needs human judgment, verified names and a person who presses publish.
The parish office is not a media company
A parish office should not need a design team, a social media manager and a proofreader to publish a weekly bulletin. It needs a clear routine.

How is this different from making the bulletin in Word?
The office, priest and translators work around one shared bulletin rather than separate files. Start from a previous week or import an English PDF, image or Word document into an editable draft. Publish the reviewed bulletin online, then export an A4 PDF or image when you need one for printing or sharing.
Can we publish in more than one language?
Yes. English, Filipino, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Tamil, Kadazan and Iban are supported today. Each edition has its own workspace, previous translations are carried forward, and new or changed English announcements are flagged. A person reviews every translation before it is published. Tell us which languages your parish actually uses; additional languages are discussed during onboarding.
We are outside Malaysia. Can we use Parish Bell?
Yes — Catholic parishes and dioceses in any country are welcome to get in touch. The public bulletin pages work in any browser. Scheduling and some defaults currently follow Malaysia time, collections are shown in ringgit and the giving block includes DuitNow, so we confirm the details for your country before onboarding.
Does saving a draft make it public?
A new draft stays private until the office publishes it. You can preview it privately, ask Father to review it using an expiring approval link, and schedule publication. An already-published bulletin is different: saved edits can appear on its live web page. Unpublish it first if you need to make changes privately.
Do I need to install anything to use Parish Bell?
No. Staff work in a web browser and parishioners open the parish's public link without an account. Readers can also save the parish page to their home screen. New-bulletin notifications are optional and depend on browser and device support.
Can I see past bulletins, or search old announcements?
Yes. Published bulletins have dated archive pages and shareable links. Readers can search past announcements and Mass schedules instead of looking through old WhatsApp messages.
